Serving the Greater Georgetown Community and Beyond

Wellspring sponsors several events during the year for the local community - Trunk 'r Treat, Easter "Eggstravaganza" and Vacation Bible School are geared toward children and families. We charter a Cub Scout Pack serving boys in 1st-5th grades. We raise funds for disaster relief efforts, such as our sponsorship of our sister church in Rockport, TX, devastated by Hurricane Harvey. We support the Caring Place, Ride On Center for Kids (ROCK), The Wesleyan Benevolent Fund, and many other local organizations serving Georgetown.

We hosted Close Friends weekly before the pandemic, serving those with alzheimer's/dementia and their caregivers.

Our Student ministry participates in several mission projects during the year, including partnering with other local churches for weekends of service like DNOW. Contact Rodnei Williams.

In addition, many of our members are involved in:

Just beyond Georgetown:

  • Story Book Project of Texas. Contact Kathy Balsamo.

Reaching Beyond Our Walls and City

Our Student Ministry travels at least one week in the summer for both in-state out-of-state mission trip. In recent years, they have served communities in Louisiana, Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington, and other parts of Texas. For the Summer 2021, they will travel to work in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Our adults are mission-minded too! In 2018, we had folks serve alongside other church teams in Sager Brown, Louisiana.
