Nursery Workers
Nursery workers are responsible for providing excellent care for the children and parents of Wellspring during Sunday morning worship and Sunday school, as well as for other events (as scheduled/needed).
Hours:
This position is part-time (3-5 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
Welcome children into the classroom when they arrive.
Provide support and assistance to parents when they arrive with their child.
Actively engage with children, setting up age-appropriate activities.
Provide physical, emotional, and intellectual support and stimulation to each child in care, as appropriate for the circumstances.
Ensure hourly diaper checks, for children who are not toilet-trained.
Attempt to calm children before alerting parents.
Contact parents if a child becomes sick or inconsolable.
Develop a relationship of trust and continuity with children and parents.
Performance Expectations:
Be punctual. Notify your supervisor in advance if you must be late.
Be reliable in your attendance. Notify the supervisor in advance if you must be absent.
Be polite, friendly, and courteous to others, including children, adults, and peers.
Check email at least weekly and respond to staff communications.
Never engage in the physical punishment/discipline of any child.
Complete required “Ministry Safe” training
Minimum Qualifications:
Steadfast commitment to the highest ideals of the Christian faith, of the United Methodist Church, and the mission, vision and purpose of Wellspring UMC
Servant attitude
Excellent communication skills
Basic understanding of children and their needs
Team player who operates in a collegial manner with other staff
Adaptive to a variety of situations
At least 18 years of age or older
Ability to lift 15-20 lbs

Audio/Visual and LiveStream Technical Coordinator
The Audio/Visual and LiveStream Technical Coordinator (Technical Coordinator) will work directly with the Senior Pastor and Director of Worship and Pastoral Care to ensure that worship services are able to be seen and heard clearly and effectively, so that worship is as free from technical distractions as possible, with a particular focus on the recording and implementation of the 9:00 LiveStream service, which will be broadcast on a one-hour delay.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Arrive at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings to set up and record the LiveStream Service
Move the service recording file to another computer, and broadcast the recorded service to Facebook
Moderate the Facebook LiveStream broadcast at 9:00 a.m.
Upload the service to YouTube at 10:00 a.m.
On occasion, stay through the 10:00 hour for special events that require technical support
On occasion, come to church during the week for additional hours for special events or to sub in for volunteers
Skills and Abilities
Good computer skills
Experience with or able to quickly learn various computer software programs including EasyWorship, OBS, StudioOne (DAW), Facebook Producer, as well as engineering live audio
Ability to use and adjust cameras, change camera angles
Ability to think ahead for what comes next in worship, anticipate difficult transitions, and execute them seamlessly
Additional hours may become available for someone who also has other skills and abilities
Compensation - hourly, $15-20 per hour depending on experience, typically 3.5 hours per week
