Come join us for our Christmas and New Year's Eve Services:
You are invited to bring the whole family to any of our special services at the end of December. Celebrate Christmas and ring in the New Year with us, and may the light of Christ guide the way!
December 17th - Christmas Cantata
9:30 and 11:00 a.m. (NO 8:30 service that day)
Amidst the suffering of this world, Christ’s light reaches down and offers the gift of unending peace and joy. This music reconnects the heart with the wonder of our Savior’s birth and the everlasting hope we find only in Him. Come and listen to these seasonal melodies as you lift high the name of Christ—our ultimate hope.
December 24th - Christmas Eve
10:30 a.m. Fourth Sunday of Advent Service
We’ll light the Candle of Peace and celebrate the final service of Advent. This service will not include communion and will be distinct in theme from the evening services.
5:00 p.m. Family & Contemporary Christmas Eve Service:
Children are invited to participate in worship. We will have band-led carols and candlelight. The service will include Holy Communion.
7:00 p.m. Traditional Christmas Eve Service
We will have Choir-led Carols, special music, and candlelight. The service will include Holy Communion.
December 31st - New Year's Eve
10:30 a.m. Service of Lessons and Carols:
We will have ONE service on New Year’s Eve. Please join us for favorite Carols and the Christmas story told through scripture.
Please note: children are welcome in worship at all services - we will not have separate childcare. (The infant nursery will be open to parents if needed.)
Our usual Sunday schedule:
8:30 a.m. Worship with Traditional Hymns
9:30 a.m. Worship with Choir-Led Hymns
11:00 a.m. Worship with Band-Led Praise Songs
What Can I Expect on Sunday Morning?
We have three services on Sunday morning:
8:30 AM Worship with Traditional Hymns
9:30 AM Worship with Choir-Led Hymns
11:00 AM Worship with Band-Led Contemporary Songs
While the style of music is different at each service, the services include a time of prayer, readings from the Bible, and teaching/preaching - usually by our senior pastor. Sometimes during the year our retired clergy or special guests may preach.
You can expect to be greeted at the front door by a friendly volunteer, who will assist you in finding your destination. Please ask one of these members for assistance.
If you have nursery-age children, we recommend you arrive a few minutes early to have time to check them in. Older children usually begin the service with their families and are excused to Sunday School after the children’s time “Lesson for All Ages.” Of course, children are always welcome in church, so your children can stay with you. Ask an usher for an activity pack if you need something for busy hands.
What Should I Wear?
We want you to be comfortable! You will see people worshipping in everything from suits to shorts.
Can I Receive Holy Communion?
We celebrate Holy Communion, sometimes also called The Lord’s Supper, usually on the first Sunday of the month. Holy Communion is a gift available to all - you do not have to be Methodist to receive the elements.
How Do I Learn More About What’s Going on at Wellspring?
When you visit on Sunday morning, please fill out the registration card handed out by the ushers with the announcements. (Please fill it out completely and legibly to help our staff and volunteers!)
