Our Motto

All Are Welcome, All Are Accepted, All Are Loved, and All Means All

Our Purpose Statement

We are called by God to be disciples of Jesus Christ who love everyone by:

  1. Being in relationship with God, one another, and the community through mission and service.
  2. Actively pursuing diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation with an emphasis on being a welcoming church home for all.
  3. Engaging people of all ages in dynamic, intergenerational ministries that nurture spiritual growth.

After a lengthy discernment process, our purpose statement was formally unveiled at our Meet at the Well event on March 5, 2023, along with the additions to our motto, "all are loved, and all means all."

Our Welcoming Statement

Wellspring, a United Methodist Community of Faith, is a welcoming congregation where our motto is, “All Are Welcome, All Are Accepted, All Are Loved, And All Means All." As a caring, diverse community, we welcome into full fellowship persons of every race, culture, nationality, economic circumstance, age, physical and mental ability, family and marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, and any other category that creates an “us and them” mentality. We affirm that all persons everywhere are children of God.

Wellspring formally joined the Reconciling Ministries Network and became a Reconciling Congregation in June 2017. For more information about Reconciling Ministries, please visit: www.RMNetwork.org
